This Privacy Policy explains how Nikki Crowell and Soul Aligned Ventures International LLC ("we," "us," "our") collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit nikkicrowell.com or take the Alignment Audit. We are the data controller for the information described here. We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need.
We collect information you give us directly: your name and email address when you take the Alignment Audit, subscribe, or contact us; the answers you provide in the Alignment Audit and the results calculated from them; and the content of any message you send us. If you enter into a client relationship with us, we collect the details needed to deliver that work.
We collect a small amount of standard technical data (such as browser type and pages visited) needed to serve and secure the site. We do not currently run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first through our cookie banner.
The Alignment Audit is a free tool that gives you a personalized read. Your answers are processed in your browser to calculate your result. When you enter your name and email to unlock your full read, we store your name, email, your dimension scores, and your recommended next step so we can send you your read and, with your consent, relevant follow-up notes. You can withdraw this consent and unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent to send you marketing and audit-related emails (you give this when you tick the box at the Alignment Audit and can withdraw it anytime), and on our legitimate interests to operate, secure, and improve the site and to respond to your inquiries. Where we process information to carry out a contract with you, we rely on the performance of that contract.
We use your information to deliver your Alignment Audit read, send communications you have consented to, respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, and operate our business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers below who help us run these services.
We use trusted third parties to process data on our behalf: MailerLite and MailerSend (email delivery, subscriber storage, and automation), and Substack (our publication, The Key). Our booking and scheduling is handled through Dubsado. These providers process your data under their own privacy terms and only as needed to provide their service to us. Some are based in the United States, so your information may be transferred and stored there under appropriate safeguards.
The ongoing nurture and updates you receive after the Alignment Audit are sent through MailerLite. The Key, our public publication, is hosted on Substack; if you choose to subscribe there, that subscription is also governed by Substack's privacy practices. You can unsubscribe from any of our emails at any time, and doing so withdraws your consent to further marketing.
We keep your information for as long as you remain subscribed or as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we will remove it from our active systems, keeping only what the law requires us to retain.
